I have an interview today with a family with a 4 month old. They want someone to watch and take care of the infant 40 to 45 hours a week. In the summer, they have a 6 year old (from another marriage). What weekly salary should I ask for? They want someone to do light housekeeping as well as taking care of the infant and the 6 year old (in the summer only).

for now $120.00/ week. but when the 6 year old comes, i would say about $150 altogether. but before you suggest a price, let them suggest something first. they may offer you more.

I suggest you find out what the going rate for nannies in your area is and start from there, different areas of the country have different costs of living and therefore would pay differently.
