How can I take good care of my baby guppy?

Courtney S asked:

I just got a new guppy from the pet store yesterday, and I looked in the bag when I got home and they mistakingly gave me a baby guppy as well. I have a little tiny tank that I put the guppy in, and then put it in my bigger tank so that I can still feed it and its water is still being filtered, but is there anything else that I can do to take care of it? It’s too cute I dont want to loose it.

you have to feed it 2 or 3 times a day because it is a fry. Take good care of him.

Since you are considering breeding them, I do highly suggest doing some research now while you still have some time. I can tell you a few things about that, but looking over several articles on forums and internet places will give you rounded advice.

Guppies are live bearers, and will spawn repeatedly. Females can store ***** so even if you lose your males, do not be alarmed if you see fry still being produced. The best thing to do to ensure higher survival rates, is to get a breeding net or cage. The reason you want to do this is guppies will eat their own fry. This allows you to isolate the babies and grow them until they are a size where they wouldn’t be eaten.

Fry need different food then adults. Because of their size, I recommend Infusoria, a liquid food, baby brine shrimp, cyclops shrimp, and de capsulated brine shrimp. As they begin to grow, and are not of a size to be eaten, you could then release them back into the main tank. Keep in mind though, guppies are hard to stop breeding, so unless you have a solid plan for the fry, you could find yourself overpopulated in a matter of a few months.

The fry then put it in its own tank with heater and filter buy fry food at pet store and do what said had the fry then put it every other day about or times good luck and feed it every other day about or times good luck and filter buy fry then put it in its own.
    The same thing happen.
