i would love to be a stay at home mom, but it’s just NOT an option. so please, no comments about that.
what i’m wondering is, would it be better for a baby to have consistent care at a day care center, OR would it be better for various relatives to watch the baby various days? one, non-related day care provider, or multiple relatives?
i’m thinking day care would be more stable, and prvide a schedule, whereas someone different nearly every day of the week would be a bit chaotic for an infant, even if they are relatives…
what do you think?
WI MOM- shut up, will you? what exactly do you expect me to do, live on the street with my infant? would that be best for it??

i’m actually still pregnant. so i don’t *know* my baby yet. and it’s my first.
i’m only irritated with WIMOM because she didn’t answer the question. and hey, neither did you. so why bother posting?? unless it’s just to make snide, rude, or judgemental comments. it’s certainly not to be helpful, obviously.

I want to have my friend do child care for my son, but how would I report that on my tax return?

Does anybody send their baby to infant day care center? I was wondering how much it costs monthly to take care for an infant for about 8 hours a day in metropolitan areas of NJ or NYC. Does anybody have any ideas or have something that can recommend? Websites would be greatly appreciated!

I have two children under the age of 18 months and I need to go back to work since I have been out of work to take care of my babies. Daycare costs a lot of money for babies and someone had told me once to apply for child care assistance and that it would help me dramatically. How would I go about applying? Where would I go? Do I have to pay up-front costs? How does this work? If anybody has any answers it would be greatly appreciated on my part. THANK YOU in advance.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of four kinds of infant care: mother exclusively, relative care, family day care, and center care?
