Google it..
After foster care was done with him, he was dead and ended up weighing less then a carton of smokes..

have you read about all the babies who die every day in the ghettos? have youheard about all the kids abandoned by dads in the innercities? what about kids killed by their mothers in lakes or thrown off the golden gate bridege. having your own kids should be outlawed man.

Ah so that makes it okay that they died?
??????
And I agree at times parents should have to have a licence or something…
Read the whole story…..

I am glad you made that point..

Means you read it.. no the truth is that child needed protection and the system failed him…CPS was supposed to be monitoring this..
CPS was in his life… he was their resposibility and they gave him to the mom to kill..

It almost happened to my son but I rescued him… and was punished for it..
IF I HAD NOT TAKEN MY SON AWAY FROM HIS MOTHER WHILE LIVING IN THEIR CPS SHELTER HE WOULD NOT BE ALIVE TODAY…
I love how Adoption is A-OKAY blocked me from answering questions… to make sure it’s one sided… unlike us who let anyone answer…

Where I come from we call that discrimination…
Of course you think adoption is A-OKAY …..
you would….
Why not just stick your fingers in your ears and start going “la la la la la la” like a 5 year old child?
Oh wait you already are…
I’m confused? This child was starved to death by his own mother! Child protective services wasn’t even involved. How would they monitor the child if there was never a report? The catholic childrens aid society is NOT a state child welfare agency although they should have made a report if they were “monitoring” the situation.

This child wasn’t in foster care at all!!!

Exactly! She and the baby were being “monitored” by CPS…
The investigations show they knew the mother would abuse the child… and yet still…. nuthing was done and the child was killed…
How did no one notice a baby living in a shelter starving to death…? Please… do tell..
a baby’s face starts to cave in from starvation I think someone should have notice don’t you especially the CPS WORKER…
Holy cow… wake up people….
She knew she needed help but did not ask for it, she clearly expected people to be able to read her mind.

She probably didn’t ask cause she was screwed up and scared to…(does not excuse it, but it explains it.. i was scared to talk to my workers and these people who said they were there to help… I can’t imagine she would have felt different.. afraid that people would take her baby…
Protected to death…

I am in the process of collecting products to be sent in care packages to soldiers overseas who are currently receiving little to no support from home. These are soldiers who just want the basic products, baby wipes, chapstick, good smelling stuff for the women, magazines and such. What I would like to know is, I am currently composing a letter to send to some major companies to ask for donations in the form of thier products to include in these care packages…and Im not exactly sure of how to word it…any ideas? or does anyone know of any companies who will do this?? thanks
I am part of a non-profit recognized group…

I have been in college for 2 years. I have two small children. Every place I go to (for a job interview) wants to pay me like 7/hr. Are you kidding me?!?! Child care for JUST MY INFANT is 140/wk! How do people do it?!? My husband makes between 75-85k a year. So I can’t get assistance. I want to get into the work field (and please no “you should stay at home with your children” lectures.) I am independant and I find pride in contributing to my family as well. And I think my children need interaction with other kids in a structured environment.
I am going to school for Business…where can I go to get a decent job?????
I live in the NW part of the state.
My husband brings home almost about 1500 weekly but why would I work and not make extra income b/c I am paying out the @$$ for childcare? That is why I want a good paying job so I can afford child care on my paycheck alone. I dont have to work, I WANT to. I am tired of being at home. Plus I just moved here from another town (I am 300 mi. from “home”) I want to interact with other adults and work. It is hard to set up mom meetings or whatever when I dont know anyone.

We are considering maybe beginning to do foster care for infants/toddlers. I know the legal process/classes you have to go through, but as I don’t have kids I don’t have any of the items you would need to take care of children of this age group. We are planning to take up to four year olds, both boys and girls. Just one at a time. What is a general list of stuff that we should purchase in order to take care of this age group?

Or is that too ’socialized’ - which is, of course, a dirty word - even though it saves more babies than does our (the U.S.) system of care for those who can afford it…

Which health care approach do you think Jesus would favor, Christians?
JinJu, you wish. Your kind keeps trying, but I ain’t goin’ nowhere :) (((Nancy Boy)))

It seems like you can’t even get started without about $20,000. Don’t know why it has to be so expensive… I can understand paying the birth mother’s hospital bills/ prenatal care and a reasonable fee for the agency for matching you, but come on! Is private adoption cheaper? The only way I’ve seen that isn’t ridiculous is foster care but when I adopt I want to do just that- adopt. Not take in a baby who can potentially be returned to their birth parents
I decided that although my mother was silling to go through with it, I loved her too much to let her do anything that might jeopardize her health
willing i mean lol

I just moved to Oak Lawn, and I have a 4-month-old daughter who is very easy to care for, and I’m looking to care for maybe 2 other children, who are over the age of 1. I put up an ad on craigslist, but I’ve had no responses. What do I need to do child care and how do I get the word out there so I can start?
