Kurt V asked:
If America ever had to adopt a socialized health care model (which seems likely in the future if we dont get good universal health care insurance by the time the baby boomers move onto retirement), do you think that it would widen the gap between the rich and the poor? Also, if we socialize our health care, it will get much less efficient, and quality will sufffer. Therefore, the wealthy people will opt to see private physicians, and the poorer classes will be left to suffer the inadequate social system.

Would this not broaden the gap between the rich and the poor?
Then efficient, high quality care will be only something big money can buy you.
